Premier Graphics, a provider of transactional and marketing communication solutions, has doubled its digital print volume capability with the installation of its first color HP PageWide Web Press, while also significantly driving down cost per page and reducing expenses.

Since installing the HP PageWide T230 Color Series Web Press, capacity at the Stratford, Connecticut-based printer has jumped from 1.2 million pages per day to 2.5 million. Premier has moved jobs from its toner devices to inkjet to benefit from the higher color quality and lower cost.

“The investment in HP’s high-speed, digital inkjet technology will enable our business to develop into the future, taking advantage of one-pass variable data printing, and simplified, cost-efficient production to meet market demands,” said Sean Huban, Chief Revenue Officer, Premier Graphics. “HP digital has changed our conversation with clients. We begin our discussions with marketing solutions using variable digital color to lift response rates, improve communication, and increase ROI.”

Another reason Premier chose the HP PageWide web press is for its ability to print on many stocks including synthetics. Using HP thermal inkjet technology, the press has opened the opportunity for Premier to produce membership cards for healthcare and other companies.  Premier specializes in high-end transactional documents and variable communication products, including personalized welcome kits, membership cards and benefit booklets.

Established in 1984, Premier has grown to be one the largest and most diverse marketing communication companies in the Northeast.  Premier serves the needs of marketers from many industries including healthcare, education, financial services and non-profits.  As a single source provider, Premier provides printing and mailing services to hundreds of clients out of its 75,000-square foot facility.
