The company’s latest recruit will be focusing on improving customer service operations and anticipating customers’ needs.
ECi Software Solutions has announced that David Collyer has been appointed the company’s Senior Vice President of Global Customer Experience, directing customer services “to further ECi’s focus on anticipating and meeting customers’ needs”.
Before his recruitment by ECi, Collyer was Vice President of Customer Care at One Technologies, LP, a mobile products company, and he has also held prominent customer service-related positions at Intel Corporation, AOl Time Warner and Netscape, among others.
Gruenewald, President and COO of ECi at the company’s Fort Worth headquarters, said, “David brings more than 20 years of customer services operations and leadership experience to his role here at ECi.” He added, “He has demonstrated excellence in creating and managing customer programs within software and e-commerce companies, from small start-ups to Fortune 50 enterprises. His breadth of experience along with his commitment to deliver an ongoing world-class experience for our customers is what we need to help take our support and services to the next level. David is a natural leader and we are honoured to have him join us.”
Collyer, who graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s of Science, spoke of his appointment, “Joining a culture and a team of leaders with such great experience, vision, and passion to help their customers realise their dreams is very exciting.” He continued, “I look forward to helping ECi transform its dedication to the customer into a structure that will delight at every interaction.”
