Grand Rapids, MI — This April, Noordyk Business Equipment is proud to celebrate 80 years of business, marking eight decades of providing reliable office solutions, exceptional customer service, and industry-leading Konica Minolta equipment to businesses across West Michigan.

Founded in 1946, Noordyk Business Equipment began as a one-man operation in a basement. After serving in World War II, where he was trained to repair and maintain typewriters, William (Bill) D. Noordyk Sr. launched “Noordyk Typewriter Service” from his parents’ home. What started as a small service business quickly grew through a commitment to craftsmanship and customer care.

Today, Noordyk Business Equipment has grown into a trusted partner for businesses across the region, with more than 35 specialists and two locations in Grand Rapids and Lansing. The next generation of Noordyks are now carrying on daily operations with Vice President Cara Hedges and Sales Director Will Noordyk leading the way.
