Fairfield, NJ – January 26, 2026 – Kyocera Corporation has been named on CDP’s 2025 “A” List for its commitment to the environment. Each year, CDP, the creators of the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system, scores companies on their work on climate change, deforestation, and water security. After analyzing nearly 20,000 company submissions, the experts at CDP named Kyocera Corporation to it’s a list for the fourth time. Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc., is a group company of Kyocera Corporation.

Through environmental activities, social citizenship initiatives, and strong governance, Kyocera Corporation has a proven track record when it comes to doing what is right for the planet. “I believe our organization stands out as an environmental leader because we put the well-being of the planet at the center of everything we do,” explained José M. Estébanez, Vice President of Corporate Marketing at Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc. “Being named to the CDP A List for 2025 is the result of our team’s continued efforts to balance economic development and environmental preservation.”

In fact, climate change is one of the Kyocera Group’s main priorities. By actively implementing renewable energy and energy-saving measures at each of its locations, they are well on their way to achieving carbon neutrality by FY 2051.

“We put the planet at the center of everything we do.”

José M. Estébanez, Vice President of Corporate Marketing at Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc.

Only 4% of the companies scored by CDP in 2025 made the A List. This score is reserved for organizations that show environmental leadership and live out internationally recognized best practices in strategy and action. Our progress in Vietnam and at our U.S. Headquarters are two recent examples of how Kyocera strives toward climate neutrality. The solar power system the organization installed at the Vietnam Plant in 2024 and the solar energy system in the United States, which aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 960 tons each year, help to reach this goal.

Kyocera Corporation highlights that their environmental success is not only thanks to large-scale initiative. Individuals can also make a difference via their equipment- and toner-recycling programs like ECO footPRINT™ Toner Recycling. At the same time, Kyocera Corporation has shown themselves as leaders in crafting devices with long-lasting parts and machines that consume less energy, all of which contributes to their leadership in this area.

Looking to the future, Kyocera Corporation is committed to continue doing what is right for businesses and the planet.
