Langenhagen, Germany, 2 March 2026

Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe has achieved the Microsoft Intelligent Automation Specialization under the Microsoft Cloud Solutions Partner Designations “Business Applications”, “Digital and App Innovation (Azure)” and “Modern Work”. This exclusive recognition confirms the company’s proven expertise in implementing intelligent automation solutions using Microsoft technologies such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and Azure AI Services.

With the successful completion of this demanding qualification process, Konica Minolta confirms its competence in supporting customers in modernizing their operational processes and sustainably advancing digital transformation through automation and artificial intelligence. The specialization underscores the ability to automate and streamline business processes, integrate AI into workflows to enable smarter decision-making, implement RPA at scale, reduce operational complexity and increase efficiency, and build secure and scalable automation frameworks.

Advanced process automation with Power Automate

To obtain the specialization, partners must demonstrate outstanding capabilities in advanced process automation with Power Automate. This includes end-to-end workflow automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with desktop flows, AI-driven document processing and decisioning using AI Builder, as well as the implementation of complex approval and orchestration models.

Low-code app innovation with Power Apps

The specialization further recognizes partners who demonstrate comprehensive expertise in low-code app innovation with Power Apps. This includes digitizing manual processes into structured and scalable applications, seamlessly integrating apps into automated workflows, and building modern interfaces to deliver process efficiency.

AI integration using Azure AI services

Another key focus lies in the integration of Azure AI Services to apply document intelligence, cognitive services, and large language model-based insights that enable automation solutions to learn, improve and adapt.

Operational excellence

In addition, Microsoft requires the highest standards in governance, security, lifecycle management, and the delivery of measurable, validated customer outcomes.

“The Intelligent Automation Specialization represents a significant  milestone within our Intelligent Information Management portfolio and clearly demonstrate how effectively Konica Minolta enables smarter, faster and more resilient client operations through transformative technologies such as advanced automation and AI,” says Philip Plischke, Head of Service Design, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe, “It also recognizes our commitment to delivering tangible outcomes to help organizations work more efficiently and grow with confidence.”
