Access Systems is excited to announce our recent acquisition of J&S Electronic Business Systems in Burlington, Iowa. J&S is a locally owned business providing print, IT, and phone service to the area for nearly sixty years.
Access Systems continues to be committed to both organic growth and growth through strategic acquisitions. Our acquisition strategy is to expand our technology services across the Midwest, growing into new markets and solidifying our competitive footprint in markets that we already are present.
The two business units will consolidate; closing the Access office currently located on N. Roosevelt and operations will continue at 878 Jefferson St. in Burlington. The leadership teams have joined together to ensure a smooth transition for all the customers and team members. Mike Fairlie, General Manager, shared, “This partnership is a positive next step for J&S to bring additional resources to the team and valued customers. As Mary Beth and Bob transition into retirement, they chose Access Systems because the leadership is very employee oriented. We are a family here and that gives them and I, peace of mind.”

The purchase of J&S expands Access’ growing presence in Burlington and builds upon its strength and commitment to operating in Iowa. Over the upcoming weeks, the brand will transition from J&S to Access Systems. This Investment is to broaden our services and provide customers with multiple layers of local technical expertise. Access Systems is hiring in all locations and specifically looking to expand the sales team in Burlington.
