The large-format imagePROGRAF TZ-30000 series earned the prestigious honor of a 2022 iF Design Award, as announced by Canon Inc., the parent company of Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions.

The imagePROGRAF TZ-30000, which has the fastest printing speed of any imagePROGRAF printer to date at up to 4-D size prints per minute, garnered recognition from the world-renowned iF Design Awards from the Hanover, Germany-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, the world’s oldest independent design organization.

Helping earn the award for the imagePROGRAF TZ-30000 was a multitude of included “Canon First” technologies built in, such as, an integrated top stacker that utilizes an air flow system, a dual roll media system with intelligent media handling and twin carriage motors

The imagePROGRAF TZ-30000 MFP Z36 was designed as a high-end hybrid product with productivity and usability in mind, providing a powerful scan-to-copy/file system that allows the user to scan and print at the same time. Providing further efficiency and productivity, the imagePROGRAF TZ-30000 MFP includes the Z36 scanner, developed by Global Scanning for Canon, as well as an updated system controller with an intuitive interface.

“The imagePROGRAF TZ-3000 has been able to combine high-speed and high-quality to meet the needs of fast-paced businesses working to tight deadlines and is deserving of this award,” said Tim Greene, research director, Hardcopy Solutions at IDC.

Established in 1953, the iF Design Awards are recognized internationally as one of the most prestigious awards within the field of design, with outstanding industrial designs chosen from all over the world each year. This year, over 10,000 entries from 57 countries and regions were judged by internationally active design experts across nine disciplines: product, packaging, communication, interior architecture, professional concept, service design, architecture, user experience and user interface.
