Former Xerox exec brings more than a decade of experience and proven results in the imaging industry

MONTVALE, N.J., April 10, 2025 /PRNewswireOpens in new window/ — Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation (SEC), announced it has hired Matt Petry as Vice President, West Region of SIICA’s direct sales and services operations, Sharp Business Systems (SBS). In this role, Petry will lead the strategic direction and performance of SBS operations across the Western U.S., with a focus on growth, customer engagement, and operational efficiency. He will report to Joe O’Malley, Senior Vice President, SBS.

Petry brings a strong leadership background across finance, sales, and general management, with more than a decade of executive experience at Xerox and its subsidiary, Global Imaging Systems (GIS). His roles at GIS included Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Sales for Strategic and National Accounts, and President of Zeno Office Solutions. During his tenure, he drove significant turnaround results, earning national recognition for top-line growth, profitability, and employee retention.

His early career in public accounting at PwC laid a foundation for his analytical and performance-driven approach to business leadership.
