ROCHESTER, N.Y., SEPTEMBER 8, 2021 – Kodak Alaris has announced the appointment of David Gerber to the newly created role of Software & Solutions Sales Director. The appointment comes as the company looks to leverage growth opportunities and drive its software solutions sales strategy across the Americas region.

A highly knowledgeable senior executive, Gerber brings over 30 years’ leadership experience in sales management, direct software sales, channel sales, strategic alliances, business process automation and business strategy. He has a strong track record for delivering revenue growth for companies including IBM, Kofax, Magellan and Tallega Software. Most recently, he provided business strategy, fractional sales management and process automation services to small and mid-sized companies across the US.

In his new position, Gerber will play a strategic role in delivering on Kodak Alaris’ strategy to grow in areas outside its core information capture business. He will assume overall responsibility for the company’s pre-sales consulting and technical teams and work closely with channel partners to ensure they have the knowledge, resources and support required to drive solutions growth – specifically Kodak Info Input Solution, Capture Pro Software and the INfuse Smart Connected Scanning Solution. He will also take the lead in managing and developing relationships with the ISVs and SIs that comprise the company’s software ecosystem, and work on forging new strategic partnerships to deliver added value to customers.
